RESERVING WITH RCI
The power to globe trot
GlobalAccess Points give you the ability to make a reservation through RCI. Your Points will get you a variety of accommodations at more than 4,000 affiliated RCI resorts in over 100 countries.* In addition, you never have to bank your Points with RCI. Your Points stay in your GlobalAccess account until you’re ready to make a reservation.
When making an RCI reservation, your GlobalAccess Points will be converted into RCI Points. Just think of the conversion like the difference between temperatures registered in Fahrenheit and Celsius. The value is the same, but the expression of the value is different. Different numbers, yes, but they both feel the same to your skin.
You can choose to use your GlobalAccess Points for reservations at RCI Weeks affiliated resorts and RCI Points affiliated resorts. Refer to your RCI Points Directory for a listing of resorts.
RCI WeeksIf you wish to visit an RCI Weeks affiliated resort, you can make reservations for seven-night stays only. But, you do have the flexibility to reserve your desired dates and accommodations two years in advance of your travel date.
RCI PointsWhen making a reservation to visit an RCI Points affiliated resort, the minimum required stay is one night. You may make your RCI Points reservations up to 10 months in advance. *Please keep in mind that all RCI transactions require a transaction fee. RCI transaction fees are extablished by RCI and are subject to change.

One of your benefits as a GlobalAccess member is the option to plan vacations using RCI. Whenever you're interested in confirming an RCI vacation using your GlobalAccess Points, please call GlobalAccess at 877.UGO.4FUN (877.846.4386), and a Vacation Counselor will review your Point balances with you.
It's important to remember that RCI's point system is separate from GlobalAccess and the values are different. The relationship is similar to Fahrenheit and Celsius; each RCI point converts to two GlobalAccess Points. For example, 174,000 GlobalAccess Points are equivalent to 87,000 RCI points.
When you are offered an RCI vacation and find that you're just a little short of the required number of RCI points, you can still go ahead and book your vacation. GlobalAccess will contact you soon afterward to help you either borrow or rent the GlobalAccess Points you need in order to retain the reservation you booked.
You may borrow GlobalAccess Points from future Use Years by pre-paying the maintenance assessments at $4 per 1,000 Points, or you may rent additional Points for a flat $10 per 1,000 Points.
